A great afternoon’s play by both sides and a great defensive effort by Rhiwbina. The Squirrels won with four fine tries, one on either wing, a lucky one for Gideon Emery as he followed up a kick over the Merthyr line which was spilled, and another by Gideon in the second half. This was just enough to secure a win in the sun at the Wern and a Plate final the Arms Park in May. Well done all, and our thanks to both the hosts and the organisers.
