On a lovely sunny winter's morning the Under 12's entertained Ravenswood School from Kent who were on tour with two games - thanks to our old friends at Llandaff RFC for providing the bulk of the team to be play in one of the two games. With the games ending one victory apiece it was honours even but probably of more benefit than the rugby was exposure to the social benefits of rugby, meeting new people, sharing good committed sport and realising what added value the game can bring to life. For the record Ravenswood won one game 43-29 with their backs showing some good passing skills and speed out wide with in the other (the one with the bulk being Llandaff) it was a comprehensive win for the home team who dominated upfront allowing a platform for the backs to run amok. Now the focus moves to next Sunday when the team travels to Fairwater in the Blues Cup for what is bound to be a tough game with the need for some real committed performances from everyone if a victory is to be the outcome.
